Applying to Eliot

Upon receipt of your child’s application, a classroom visit will be scheduled. Your child generally visits the class to which he/she is applying and is often invited back for a second visit. During this visit, each child participates in classroom activities and also works individually with the teacher in language arts and mathematics. 

Along with the application, you should submit the “Release of Records” to our Admissions Director. This form will allow us to contact your child's current school and/or teacher(s) so they may fill out our AISNE evaluation form and provide us with other pertinent information in order to make a decision regarding your child’s application. 

We also encourage you to visit us during one of our Open Houses to determine if the Eliot Montessori School is a good fit for you and your family. Open Houses have been scheduled for the following dates:
