Jay Feinstein
Kindergarten Teacher
 Jay Feinstein was raised in southern Rhode
Island and attended Ricker College in Houlton,
ME, the University of Freiborg in Switzerland,
and Rodger Williams University in Bristol, RI.
He was introduced to the Montessori philosophy
through a course in college and graduated with a
Bachelor's in Education. Jay earned his American
Montessori Society 3-6 year Master Teacher
Certificate through the New England Montessori
Teacher Education Center.
He has taught at a number of Montessori
institutions including Kinglsey, Cambridge and
Narragansett Montessori schools.
Since 1999, Mr.
Feinstein's classroom has been the gateway to
Eliot for many of our youngest students. With
his guitar and woodworking tools, he shares his
love of music and carpentry with his students.
