Kathleen Golden
Kindergarten Teacher
 Kathleen Golden was born in New York and
lived there throughout her school years. In 1972
she moved to Boston to attend Lesley College where she received her M.Ed. in
Early Childhood Education. She completed her
Montessori training with the New England
Montessori Teacher Education Center. Ms. Golden
knew that she needed to learn more about
Montessori education when her son Jesse was
born. She was interested in "finding a
teaching method that respected the individual
nature of the child while nurturing their love
of learning."
Before coming to Eliot, Ms. Golden
worked at the Cambridge Montessori School for 23
years while raising four children. For the past
several years, she has been instrumental in
establishing a partnership between the Middle
School students and the Natick Public Access
Television Station. When she isn't in the
classroom, Ms. Golden can be found riding her
bike, taking long walks, and enjoying time with
her family.
