 According to Holly Lombardo, she took the
perfect path to teaching Science and Math in the
Middle School - she lived it first. Having
worked as a scientist in several Boston area
laboratories for almost 15 years, she brings
hands-on knowledge and a great amount of ideas
for teaching the more abstract subjects of Math
and Science to Middle Schoolers.
Living most of her life in Brunswick, Maine,
Mrs. Lombardo always wanted to be a scientist,
spending countless days in the woods or at the
ocean. She earned her BS in Biotechnology and
her Masters of Science in Cell Biology, both
from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. "I
liked the smaller class sizes. I really to came
to know my professors," she says, "so
working in a small classroom setting is perfect
to teach the fine techniques of experimentation
and the math that goes along with it."
