Giovanni C. Morant
Music Teacher
 With “Giovanni C. Morant comes from a family of dynamic musicians. At an early
age he was exposed to the power that music has
to affect the lives of people. In his own
family, all six of his siblings play, sing,
and/or dance in some professional capacity. Mr.
Morant was the beneficiary of several solid
music and arts programs during his own primary
and secondary education. He notes.
Mr. Morant holds a BA from Boston University.
This summer, he attended the Taste of
Kodaly Course at the Kodaly Music Institute at
New England Conservatory in Boston.
If you don’t find him performing with his
GB (wedding) band on the weekends, you might see Mr. Morant at any park with his two
little girls. Ever the proponent of all things related to
marching band, he is glued to his local PBS
station every early August to watch the Drum
Corps International World Championships.
