Pasquale Puleo Upper Elementary Teacher
Pasquale has over thirty-five years of experience teaching 9 to 12 year olds. Over these
years, he has also worked with high school students and children aged 5 to 8 as a soccer
coach. Pasquale has taught at the Lincoln-Eliot Elementary School, the Pierce Elementary
School, and the F.A.Day Middle School, all located in Newton, Massachusetts.
Pasquale holds a Masters in Education from Boston University and is currently training to
acquire the Montessori Teacher Accreditation at the CMTE in New York. He enjoys developing
curriculum to fit the needs of students and believes that children are the most precious
gift in the world. Pasquale is also an adjunct professor at Leslie University, where he teaches the course “Math, Science, and Technology: Content and Strategies Pre K – 8” to experienced teachers who are seeking their Masters Degrees in Special Education.
Pasquale enjoys playing soccer for the Cambridge City Club in the International Premiere
Division of the Massachusetts State Soccer League and is also a US Soccer State Referee Instructor.
His other interests include traveling,
especially to Italy; reading; and poetry. He loves preparing and drinking espresso with
friends and acquaintances. When not at the Eliot Montessori School, he is usually found
in Watertown with his wife Consiglia, daughter Graziella, and grandson Antonio Pasquale
who loves to tease an extremely friendly boxer, Maximus, and an omnipresent feline, Micha.
