Nancy Salaway
Physical Education Teacher
 Nancy
Salaway is a Long Island native, born in Bayfort,
NY and graduated from SUNY College at Cortland,
NY. She has a held a number of coaching
positions including field hockey coach at Natick
High School and softball and basketball coach at
Framingham High School before coming to Eliot.
She also taught pre-school children through the
Natick Recreation Department and was the
Director of the Summer Kids Camp at the
Longfellow Sport Club.
Ms. Salaway also spends time on the field in
Wayland where she has been a member of the
Women’s Softball Team since 1989. As Eliot’s
physical education specialist and after-school
sports Director she has been able to combine her
love of children with her love of sports. She
appreciates “the sense of community, loving
kids and a great faculty” she finds at Eliot.
Off the field, Nancy enjoys time with her
daughter, Jillian and son, Sean and visiting her
family in New York.
